Prerequisites: ENGL 10803 , ENGL 20803 , and at least one 10000- or 20000-level ENGL/WRIT/CRWT course. Readings in contemporary women's writing that reflect women's lives and experiences with self, family, and society, with some attention to the theory and practice of writing the memoir. Discussion of works as both literature and social commentary.
