Prerequisites: ENGL 10803, ENGL 20803, and at least one 10000- or 20000-level ENGL/WRIT/CRWT course. Examines the nature and uses of satire, concentrating on the variety of satiric forms. Readings will include prose fiction, essays, and poetry written by European and American satirists.
